Head Lacrosse Coach at Ridgewood High School
Inducted into New Jersey Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2017. Coach Pounds brings over 30 years of coaching experience to Ridgewood from noted college programs such as University of Virginia, University of Pennsylvania, and the State University of New York at Cortland. He was named the 2023, 2019, 2017, 2015, 2017 Bergen County, 2023 New Jersey Group 4, 2013 and 2014 Group III, 2008 Gibbs Division and 2003 and 2017 North Jersey Boy’s Lacrosse “Coach of the Year”. Ridgewood Lacrosse has won nine New Jersey State Championships and has reached the final four in the Tournament of Champions seven times. |
RICH BROOKS

Assistant Varsity Lacrosse Coach, Ridgewood High School Rich Brooks is entering his 3rd decade as a coach for Ridgewood Boys' Lacrosse. He serves as assistant coach of the varsity team. During this same period he has also served as a coach for the Ridgewood High School Boys Soccer teams at all three levels of that program. Brooks is a graduate of Delbarton School and earned a BA degree from Bucknell University. He has an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to coaching, Brooks held management positions at BMW and public relations firms in the New York metropolitan area. He currently lives with his family in Ridgewood. |
